Ben Wolfram

I am...

Hello, my name is Ben Wolfram and I am a Computer Science undergraduate student at the University of Manitoba. I plan to graduate in the fall of 2017.

My main area of interest is web development. Another academic interest of mine is Psychology, in which I have a minor. I am particularly interested in how the human mind interacts with computers and why particular design choices are made.

I love coding for the web because of how accessible it is — how anyone with an internet connection can view my work instantly. Currently, the languages I prefer are Java and Javascript; right now I am spending my free time learning the MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular2, Node.js). However, I have at least some experience in a large variety of other languages (C, C++, C#, Ruby, Rails, PHP, SQL). I am also very up date on other modern web practices such as jQuery, Git, SASS, Responsive Web Design and the importance of testing.

Some of my favourite things are listening to and adding to my record collection, playing video games and following the NFL and the NBA.

Follow me on Twitter or drop me an email to get in touch.
